Stainless workshop in Tangier
In Tangier the WeAlu workshop makes the stainless parts in-house : tubes, flats, clamps, then pairs them with laminated glass on site. Not an imported catalogue — a survey, a weld, an install.
Villa stairs (stringer + glass infill), lobby handrails, façade 3D logos, doors and claddings : survey, cut, TIG weld, brushed or polished finish, then anchoring. Sheltered interior or salt balcony — we pick the grade before we cut.
304 stock for pieces out of the spray; 316 as soon as marine air hits (Malabata, Cap Spartel, Cabo Negro). We work Greater Tangier, Tétouan, Asilah, Martil, M'diq, Larache.

Villa & commercial jobs
Workshop stainless in Tangier
Three jobs the WeAlu workshop delivers most — stair, balcony, sign.

Stainless & glass railings
Laminated infill held by clamps, standoffs or welded posts. Open view to sea or patio — we size the glass to the drop and anchor into slab or concrete.
Ideal for Malabata balconies, hotel terraces, roof decks.
-
Glass + stainless stair
Stainless stringer or carriage, glass treads or infill, a continuous handrail. The shop dry-fits to the stair survey, then installs without leaving the landing unusable for days.
Ideal for Villa stairs, lobbies and mezzanines.

Grades & glass
What the shop picks before cutting
Before a tube is cut, WeAlu chooses 304 or 316 by exposure, then PVB laminate by fall height.
- 304 / 316
Stainless steel
- Brushed
- Mirror
304 for dry halls; 316 (molybdenum) as soon as salt spray reaches the work — see also World Stainless.
- PVB laminate
Stair glass
- Clear
- Low-iron
Thickness follows guard height and use: a villa stair is not a walkway rail. Light stays, shards stay in the interlayer.
Anchors matched to the support (concrete, steel, aluminium), TIG beads dressed, the site left usable. Indoors and outdoors in Tangier.

-
Shop dry-fit
Trial assembly, bead dressing, satin or polish, then careful transport.
-
Finish chosen
Brushed (daily use, fewer marks) or mirror (show finish, more care) — we say so before polishing.
FAQ — Workshop stainless Tangier
Site questions about WeAlu stainless in Tangier.
304 versus 316 on the coast, a glass + stainless stair, polish versus brushed: what the shop answers before cutting.
-
304 or 316 stainless for a sea-facing balcony in Tangier?
As soon as the work sees salt spray (Malabata, Cap Spartel, the Marina, Cabo Negro), the WeAlu workshop starts in 316 : molybdenum holds chloride better than 304. A 304 sea façade pits sooner, even if well brushed.
304 still belongs in a dry hall or indoor stair. We pick the grade at the survey — not after the first rust bloom. World Stainless guidance points the same way.
-
How is a glass + stainless stair built in the workshop?
Typically : a stainless structure (stringer, carriage or posts), laminated glass infill or treads, a continuous handrail. The shop dry-fits to the stair survey, sets guard heights, then fits the glass once the metal is anchored.
The glass is not decoration : thickness and PVB follow the fall height. We do not reuse a mezzanine rail spec on a villa stringer without recalculating.
-
Mirror polish or brushed — which shows fingerprints more?
Mirror polish shows every mark — an entry handrail, children, salt on fingers after the beach. Satin brush breaks the reflection and hides prints better; that is what the shop recommends for daily use.
Mirror still looks right on 3D letters or a detail you rarely touch. You can mix : brushed rail, mirror logo. A microfibre cloth and a stainless cleaner are enough; on 316 by the sea, an occasional fresh-water rinse stops the salt film.
-
Will a 3D stainless logo hold on a marine façade?
Yes, if the letter is 316, the fixings too, and the back is ventilated (not a salt trap). The shop cuts, folds and sometimes back-lights — the LED cable runs in the fascia, not across the render.
Polished 304 on a seafront sign will haze. We put that on the quote rather than discovering it in the windy season.
-
What workshop lead time for a custom stair rail?
After survey and layout sign-off, allow about three to six weeks depending on shop load, grade (316 can take longer to source) and laminated glass. The install date is written on the quote — we do not promise “next week” without stock.
A quote can start from photos + sizes, or after a visit. Price by the metre or by the piece, glass and anchors included depending on the job.
-
Do you only install in Tangier, or as far as Cabo Negro?
