The sheet leaves the workshop plotter, not a grit cabinet. We clean the glass already in the frame, wet-apply, squeegee. A TFZ open-plan or a villa wet room is often done the same day : other rooms stay in use.
The three jobs the shop sees most : eye-level band on a meeting partition, full frost behind a basin, a logo knockout in the middle of the band. Vector file in the morning, numbered sheets by afternoon.
Nothing is blasted, the joinery is not taped off, the pane stays in the frame. Scratched, already filmed or greasy glass : we say so at the survey (Malabata, TFZ, city centre) before we bond.

A mid-height frost band with a logo knockout — can the workshop plotter do that?
Yes. That is the job the WeAlu workshop prepares most often for a TFZ lobby : an eye-level strip, the mark cut out of the band, bare glass forming the letters.
We need a vector file (AI, PDF, DXF) or a logo clean enough to redraw. You get a layout overlay before the plotter runs — no surprise on install morning.

Will the vinyl peel after a Tangier west-window summer?
On a well-degreased indoor sheet, shop-held Scotchcal does not lift because July hit 35 °C. Peel comes from greasy glass, a poorly trimmed edge or a bargain film.
A west shopfront is a different job : low sun, expansion, sometimes condensation. We say so at the survey; if the grade is wrong we refuse to bond rather than come back in September.

One-day install — what must the client clear?
Along the glass : desks pulled back a metre, pots and frames down, blinds up. You do not have to empty the whole floor — far bays can stay occupied.
Dry floors, access to both faces if the partition is free-standing, water nearby. The workshop arrives with sheets already cut ; we do not set a plotter up in the meeting room.

Indoor partitions only, or shopfront glass outside too?
Most of the shop’s volume is office partitions and villa wet rooms — room-side bond, a clean day.
A shopfront or street door is discussed after photos : aspect, glass type, traffic. It is not the same sheet as a TFZ partition, and WeAlu is not a national façade crew.

For a waiting room the workshop almost always bonds Scotchcal matte : fewer handprints, less glare under clinic neon, a quieter read behind the band.
Gloss gives a brighter frost — more a villa door or a lobby that wants sparkle. We can stick a swatch of both on a cabinet pane before you decide.

Does the workshop travel outside Tangier city?
Cutting starts at the WeAlu workshop in Tangier. We install across Greater Tangier (TFZ, Malabata, centre) and, after photos, on the nearby coast — Tétouan, Asilah, Martil, M'diq, Cabo Negro, Larache.
Farther out it is no longer a one-day office job : we talk, we do not promise a national tour. A quote with sizes and partition photos is enough to start.
